Tracking & account
How tracking works and what you need to use it.
AlibabaTrack is a reference hub built for buyers who shop across Alibaba.com, 1688, Taobao, Tmall, and related platforms. Everything here is designed to work alongside those marketplaces — tracking, freight planning, and customs guidance in one place.
No. Tracking is open and free. Paste a tracking number, bill of lading, or carrier name and you’ll see the result right away — no sign-up needed.
Orders and shipments from Alibaba.com, 1688, Taobao, Tmall, AliExpress, and Cainiao, plus major courier and ocean carriers.
We pull the carrier’s own tracking updates when available and try to detect the carrier automatically. Coverage varies by carrier and route, so treat results as a guide and check the carrier’s site for high-value shipments.
Customs, duties & documents
The rules that decide what you pay at the border.
From published tariff and de minimis schedules for each market. These are reference values that can change, so confirm the current rate before you book.
The shipment value below which a country waives import duty (and often VAT/GST). Above it, duty and tax usually apply. The home page shows typical thresholds for the US, UK, EU, UAE, and Australia.
A US rule that lets low-value imports (under US $800) clear informally, often duty-free and with lighter paperwork. That’s why many small parcels clear quickly — but it doesn’t apply to every product or route.
Use our HS Code Lookup tool. The code decides your tariff rate, so getting it right up front avoids surprises and re-classification at the border.
Tools & services
The planning tools and how they fit into your workflow.
AlibabaTrack runs a China buying agency that purchases from 1688/Taobao on your behalf and consolidates your parcels — see our Sourcing Service. For pure freight, the Partners directory points you to vetted carriers, and the planning tools help you estimate volume, transit time, and duties before you reach out.
Yes. The Volume Calculator, Transit Matrix, and HS Code Lookup are free to use, with no sign-up and no email gate.
It turns carton dimensions and quantity into chargeable volume (CBM) and estimates how many cartons fit a 20ft or 40ft container — so you can compare freight rates more accurately.
Typical sea, air, and express lead times and cost tiers across major lanes (US, UK, EU, Australia, Canada), plus each market’s de minimis threshold.
